Dechert expanding Dublin funds practice

International law firm Dechert LLP is to expand its funds practice with the appointment of Emmet Quish as a partner in its Dublin office.

Quish is an experienced funds lawyer who specialises on the structuring, establishment, and ongoing compliance of all types of investment funds.

Dechert says that, in addition to providing counsel to asset managers, investment funds and management companies, he brings strong relationships with leading asset-management firms across Europe and internationally

Six Dublin partners

Carol Widger (managing partner of the Dublin office, pictured) described Quish as “a great addition” to its Dublin-based offering to clients.

“Emmet’s significant experience will ensure we continue to provide the highest quality service to our clients,” she said.

Dechert entered the Dublin market in 2010, and has one of the largest financial-services and investment-management practices in the city. The team now includes six partners.
