Blackhall Diploma Centre scoops education award

The Law Society’s Diploma Centre at Blackhall Place has been honoured with a ‘Best Further Education Provider’ award at this year’s Education Awards.

Launched in 2017, the awards recognise, encourage, and celebrate excellence in Irish third-level education in both State and privately-funded institutions.

The winners were announced last night (6 April) at a hybrid ceremony at Clontarf Castle in Dublin.

Claire O’Mahony (head of the Diploma Centre, pictured) said that she was delighted to accept the prestigious award on behalf of the entire Diploma Team.

"This award celebrates the Diploma Centre’s commitment to providing high-quality courses to the legal profession and wider public, and recognises the innovative, bold and creative strategies that have helped the Diploma Centre to improve its offering and excel in its field," she said this morning.

The Diploma Centre’s autumn 2022 programme of courses has just been announced, and those interested can explore what’s on offer by visiting: www.lawsociety.ie/diplomacentre
