Corporate partner is appointed at Philip Lee

Law firm Philip Lee has announced the appointment of Inez Cullen (pictured) as a partner in its corporate team.

An Irish- and UK-qualified lawyer, Cullen joined Philip Lee because of the firm’s merger with McEvoy Corporate Law in 2020.

The firm says that she has wide-ranging experience of deals across various sectors – including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, fundraisings, AIM admissions and placings, Takeover Code issues, corporate recovery and insolvency, and development finance.

Strong M&A growth

Philip Lee says that its corporate team has been expanding, in response to strong growth in M&A, and consolidation activity across a range of sectors.

Last week, the firm announced plans to move to a bigger premises in Dublin 4, and to recruit at least 50 new lawyers this year.

Philip Lee currently employs 158 in its Dublin, London, Brussels, and San Francisco offices, with more than 70 lawyers based in Dublin.

Meanwhile, four newly-qualified solicitors have also joined the firm.

Samantha Arnold has joined the immigration team, Chloe Flynn has joined the employment team, Harry O’Malley has joined the real estate team and Daniel Ryan has joined the corporate team.
