Mr Justice David Barniville (pictured) will make his declaration as a Judge of the Court of Appeal on Monday 6 September, at 10:30am, in the Supreme Court.
Attendance at the ceremony is strictly by invitation only.
Mr Justice Barniville was appointed in June.
He was appointed to the High Court in 2017, having joined the Bar in 1990, and the Inner Bar in 2006.
His nomination follows the recent appointment of Mr Justice Maurice Collins of the Court of Appeal as a part-time Commissioner of the Law Reform Commission, for a five-year term.
This move created an additional post for an ordinary judge on the Court of Appeal.
