Law Society to sharpen its focus on good mental health

From 4 to 8 October, the Law Society will be hosting Mental Health and Wellbeing Week for members in the run-up to World Mental Health Day (10 October).

This will involve a series of online, daily activities  for members, with each day dedicated to discussing one mental-health or wellbeing issue.

The activities will take place via social media (Facebook Live), video, information sessions (Small Business Practice information), and CPD offerings (provided by Law Society Finuas Skillnet).

Topics will comprise:

  • Back-to-workplace anxiety,
  • Psychological safety,
  • Addiction,
  • Secondary traumatic stress.

The week will herald the much anticipated – and complimentary – Business of Wellbeing Summit on 12 October.

Summit

The Law Society hopes that members can join in some or all of the events running during the week and that they can attend the Business of Wellbeing Summit on 12 October.
