Law Society organises GEDI policy session

An information session on the Law Society’s Gender Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (GEDI) policy is to be held next Wednesday, 16 June.

The policy, which is now available to members on the Society’s website, was developed by the Irish Centre for Diversity as a result of a recommendation from the Society’s Gender Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Task Force, which was launched in 2019 (pictured).

Guest speakers

Representatives from the centre will be the guest speakers at the information session, which takes place at 1pm through Zoom. Registration is now open.

The session will cover issues such as:

  • The importance of an effective policy on diversity and inclusion,
  • Adapting the GEDI policy to meet the needs of your workplace, and
  • Policy in action — from policy to a lived document.
