The Companies Registration Offices have been closed since 13 March but the CRO remains open for online business.

Customers who can do so should continue to file online and post signature pages and other documentation to Companies Registration Office, Bloom House, Gloucester Place Lower, Dublin 1.

Filed on time

In light of the public health crisis, the Registrar of Companies has decided that all annual returns due to be filed up to 30 June, will be deemed to have been filed on time if all elements of the annual return are completed and filed by that date.

B1 form

This involves capturing the B1 form, uploading financial statements, paying the fee and submitting it online and then delivering the signature page as normal to the CRO by that date.

The filing may also be completed as normal using Revenue Online Services (ROS) signatures instead of a signature page.

Meanwhile, the Registrar of Friendly Societies has decided that all annual returns due to be filed by Industrial and Provident Societies, Friendly Societies and trade unions between now and 30 June will be deemed to have been filed on time if all elements of the annual return are completed and filed by that date.
