Digital innovators publish 46,000 workplace rulings

Vizlegal has rolled out a searchable Workplace Relations Commission database of decisions, amounting to over 46,000 cases stretching back to 1986.

That dataset can be filtered by the relevant decision-maker or chair.

It also contains a global legislation filter.

And over twelve thousand pdf-only decisions of the Employment Appeals Tribunal are also now fully searchable for the first time

A search can be made for title, case, decision number, decision-maker, legislation, specific date or county.

Legal practitioners can now use Vizlegal to search and track WRC, Labour Court, Employment Appeals Tribunal and Equality Tribunal decisions.

Dataset

This dataset brings the number of documents available on Vizlegal to close to one million.

The site already has the ability to track High Court cases, Circuit Court diaries and judgments of the courts in Ireland, the ECHR, the CJEU and England & Wales.

Quasi-judicial bodies covered by the site include:

  • Irish Information Commissioner
  • Irish Tax Appeals Commission
  • Irish Trademarks
  • Irish Commissioner for Environmental Information
  • UK First Tier Tribunal (Tax and Chancery)
  • UK Upper Tribunal (Tax and Chancery)
