The Catherine McGuinness Fellowship for children’s rights is now looking for applications from recently-qualified barristers.
The one-year fellowship programme is run by the Children’s Rights Alliance and the Bar of Ireland, and supported by the Family Lawyers’ Association of Ireland.
Now in its fifth year, the fellowship is named in honour of Judge Catherine McGuinness.
The fellow will work with the Children’s Rights Alliance legal and policy team to reform law and policy in the area of children’s rights and child law.
The paid position is based in Smithfield, Dublin 7, and involves one day a week of work over a calendar year, beginning in October.
The fellow will also prepare an article for the Bar Review and deliver a lecture.
