The State-owned Shannon Group has appointed a former McCann FitzGerald partner to the board.
Formerly chair of the audit committee at the Department of Finance (2013-19),
Ambrose Loughlin is now part of the board overseeing Shannon Airport, Shannon Commercial Properties, Shannon Heritage and the International Aviation Services Centre (IASC).
Loughlin was a financial services partner at McCann FitzGerald for 22 years and remains a consultant at the firm.
Since 2016, he has also been on the board of the National Museum of Ireland (pictured) and chairs its audit and risk committee.
He was also recently appointed to the finance, HR and asset management committee of the University of Limerick.
Businessman Stephen Rae has also been named for the Shannon board.
