William Fry wins plaudits for art auction fundraiser

A William Fry charity tie-up has won the top four firm plaudits at the Allianz Business to Arts Awards.

The Dublin 2 firm won a gong for ‘Best Creative Staff Engagement' at the Bord Gáis-hosted award ceremony on 4 September.

Willaim Fry’s collaboration with the Jack & Jill Children's Foundation raised over €95,000 for the children’s charity earlier this year through Incognito, Ireland’s largest ever single gallery public art exhibition.

Twist

Over 2,000 original and anonymous postcard-size artworks were sold at the event, all for €50 each and with the twist that the artists, many of them well-known, remained anonymous until after the purchase.

The Jack and Jill Foundation provides home nursing care to severely-ill young children.
