Aim and Objectives
This workshop will deliver training on how to handle difficult conversations and how to communicate clearly in crucial situations. You will learn how to control your input and to handle difficult people. Role play during the workshop will help you put your learnings into practice. This workshop is open to all staff who manage staff.

Learning Outcomes
After completing this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • speak up in critical conversations in a clear, confident and assertive way (on the phone, in small or large groups, in formal or informal settings)
  • assess the participants in a conversation and present their case in a way that is more likely to appeal to them 
  • know when to ‘speak up’ and when to ‘shut up’
  • gain the confidence to make their case in the presence of more senior people and with difficult people 
  • effectively prepare and present their case, demonstration or point of view 
  • learn when and how to ‘Say No’
  • answer those difficult questions.
