WRC decisions and recommendations
The Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) has published its decisions and recommendations from 23 May to 3 June.
May and June employment case law
Cases covered include:
- a claim for an enhanced redundancy payment based on a collective agreement pertaining at the time of a transfer of undertakings (Gillian Reilly v Wedding List Solutions Limited, ADJ-00033560),
- a successful claim for discrimination on grounds of race following questions at interview (Narimene Saad v Deeward Ltd, ADJ-00032864), and
- a recommendation for compensation for unfair treatment of an employee with less than a year's service (A Sales Assistant v A Retailer, ADJ-00033212).
