UN judicial vacancies

The United Nations is seeking to fill three judicial vacancies in the United Nations Dispute Tribunal (UNDT) and five in the United Nations Appeals Tribunal (UNAT).

About the tribunals

The UNDT is a first instance tribunal of the UN internal justice system which addresses employment-related disputes. Comprising three full-time judges and six half-time judges, it sits in New York, Geneva and Nairobi.

The UNAT reviews judgments rendered by specific UN bodies and entities, including the UNDT. It exercises its functions in New York, but can decide to hold sessions in Geneva or Nairobi, and comprises seven judges.
