It's not too late to sign up for the in-person Calcutta Run.

We're back at Blackhall Place

Following two virtual years, Calcutta Run is finally back in-person and there is still time to sign up! On May 28th, get ready to run for a great cause and join the fun Finish Line Festival in Blackhall Place for the annual BBQ and fun activities for the whole family.

It's not too late to register for Calcutta Run! Join the 1,000 plus participants in Blackhall Place for a great day with friends, colleagues and family while raising money for a great cause.

You do not need to be a pro to be part of the event. After a fun warm up in Blackhall Place, all Calcutta Run participants of any level can either run or walk the usual 5k and 10k route from there, heading up Arbour Hill through Park Gate and winding through Phoenix Park back to the finish line at Blackhall Place. You will be then able to relax at the Finish Line Festival with some music, great food and drinks while the little ones are busy with kids mini-athletics and other activities such as free face-painting. It's a great opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and friends after two years apart. Registration is open until 20 May. On the day of Calcutta Run, registration starts at 9:30 and the run will take place at 11 am.

Cork event

On 29 May, the Cork Run will take place in the city of Shandon Bells at Blackrock National Hurling Club. Bib collection and late registration will take place there from 9am to 10:15am. Participants will then walk from there to the start and finish line. After the event, refreshments and food will be available.

A virtual option

For those of you who can’t make it to Dublin or Cork, you can still participate virtually from 21-28 May anywhere in Ireland or around the world as you have done in the past two years. Simply click on the virtual option when registering. Every participant who raises funds whether virtually or in-person will receive a technical t-shirt.

Making a difference

All of the money raised will go to the projects run by Peter McVerry Trust and The Hope Foundation, supporting those experiencing homelessness in both Ireland and Kolkata. Our target this year is €300,000, reaching 5 million euros over 24 years. Even if you can't take part, you can support the effort by donating online.
