  • The Public Affairs section of the Law Society website allows members to browse helpful information regarding lobbying regulation and public affairs resources. This includes information on the Regulation of Lobbying Act, guidelines for using lobbying.ie, and information on Designated Public Officials. Log in to access Public Affairs
  • Bed and breakfast facilities at the Law Society are very useful for solicitors who may need to attend meetings in Dublin. Rooms are available from €45 per night to members of the Society. See details of bed and breakfast at the Law Society
  • The Society’s official job site, legalvacancies.ie, offers a Job Alert email service. Users can subscribe via a private email, and tailor alerts to cover specific job types, locations, contract lengths and more. Sign up for Job Alerts

Training opportunities

The Law Society Diploma Centre and Law Society Professional Training provide training tailored to the needs of in-house practitioners.

  • The In-House and Public Sector Committee’s Annual Conference takes place on 9 November, covering the role of in-house counsel in managing risk, building trust and leading.
