Members can now access their digital Practising Certificates (PCs) by logging in to their dashboard.
The Society is pleased to confirm that the transition to a fully-online PC renewal for 2021 has successfully completed. Members can now access their digital practising certificates in their dashboard.
Access to practising certificate
Once logged in to the Society’s website, go to ‘view my dashboard’, ‘view my profile’ and there is a list of options on the left-hand side. Select ‘my applications’ and click on the ‘download certificate’ blue button beside your 2021 practising certificate application link.
Each practising certificate is the property of the individual solicitor irrespective of the identity of the payor of the fee (e.g. the firm) and therefore only the individual solicitor can access the certificate on their dashboard.

Strategic operational objective
Although it was the Society’s strategic operational objective to move to a fully-online PC renewal model by 2023, the many difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic accelerated this objective. This switch ensured that the PC renewal process for 2021 ran smoothly and that members were issued their practising certificates in a prompt and orderly manner.
