Chief Justice position - expressions of interest

Expressions of interest are invited from practising solicitors and others eligible for appointment as a Judge of the Supreme Court in accordance with Section 5 of the Courts (Supplemental Provisions) act 1961 (as amended).

The expression of interest for the position of Chief Justice should set out your:

  • education,
  • professional qualifications,
  • relevant experience, and
  • a statement (maximum 500 words) setting out the reasons for your interest in and suitability for the office, including your capacity to carry out the leadership role in the Judiciary.

Expressions of interest should be sent to the Secretary General to the Government by 1pm on Thursday 20 July 2017.
