Acts 

Act 13/2024. An Act to prohibit persons from engaging in certain conduct in safe access zones, that is to say, in certain areas in and adjacent to certain healthcare premises; to make provision for enforcement in respect of engaging in conduct prohibited in such safe access zones, and to provide for offences in relation to such prohibited conduct; and to provide for matters connected therewith.

Commencement: This Act shall come into operation on such day or days as the Minister may by order or orders appoint either generally or with reference to any particular purpose or provision and different days may be so appointed for different purposes or different provisions.

Act 14/2024. An Act to amend certain provisions of the Protection of Employment Act 1977; to provide for the establishment of an employment law review group to monitor, review and advise the Minister on matters relating to employment law; to amend certain provisions of the Companies Act 2014; and to provide for related matters.

SI 186/2024.

SI 188/2024. The purpose of the Intra Communities Transfer Directive (Directive 2009/43/EEC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 6 May 2009) is to simplify the rules and procedures applicable to the intra-Community transfer of defence related products. The list of products covered by Directive 2009/43/EEC is the “EU Common Military List”. As the common military list is updated regularly, the Directive is also updated with an amended list. These Regulations implement and give effect to Commission Delegated Directive (EU) 2024/242 of 27 September 2023 to reflect the amendments made in the EU Common Military List.

SI 190/2024.

Commencement: 2 May 2024

SI 191/2024. These Regulations provide for the enforcement of restrictive measures contained in Council Regulation (EU) No. 401/2013 of 2 May 2013 as amended, regarding restrictive measures concerning Myanmar/Burma. The Regulations provide that competent authorities of the State may issue directions for the purpose of giving full effect to the sanctions. The Regulations create offences for breach of the Council Regulations or for failure to comply with the directions of competent authorities of the State with regard to implementation of the sanctions and provide for appropriate penalties.

Commencement: 7 May 2024

SI 192/2024. These Regulations amend Regulation 3 of the European Union (Bank Recovery and Resolution) Resolution Fund Levy Regulations 2023 (S.I. No. 226 of 2023) to provide for circumstances where the annual target level of the Bank and Investment Resolution Fund is determined to be zero for a levy period.
