Challenges Arising from the Return to the Workplace - Employment Law Online Masterclass

Aims and Objectives

Law Firms and their clients are returning to the workplace. This masterclass gives practitioners a highly practical and up-to-date insight into employment issues arising from employees returning to the work place during times of covid-19. The speakers will give advice on:

  • GDPR issues arising from working from home, 
  • A practical guide to managing the workforce and the challenges arising from employees’ return to the workplace, and
  • How to provide a safe working environment for employees.

Course materials include a set of detailed papers written by the speakers.

She is a qualified solicitor and has many years’ experience of providing data protection consulting services and is the Principal of Colleary & Co, a law firm specialising in data protection and IP

Melanie Crowley, Partner Mason Hayes and Curran Solicitors, Dublin
Melanie is Head of the Employment Law & Benefits team in Mason Hayes & Curran in Dublin. Her diverse practice covers the full range of employment law issues, both for employers and employees, as an advisor to clients on complex non-contentious workplace issues and as an experienced litigator. Melanie is the go-to employment lawyer for some of Ireland’s biggest domestic and multi-national companies and employers. She is also an experienced speaker and writer and examiner on employment law 

Richard Grogan, Principal, Richard Grogan & Associates Solicitors, Dublin
Richard is the principal of Richard Grogan & Associates. Richard is a recognised specialist in Employment Law, Capital Taxation and Litigation.
