WRC decisions and recommendations
25/07/2022 08:48:16The Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) has published its decisions and recommendations from 27 June to 7 July.
June and July employment case law
Cases covered include:
- a claim of “discriminatory dismissal” on the grounds of membership of the travelling community (David McDonagh v Harmony Catering Services Limited, ADJ-00028368) ,
- a successful claim of discrimination based on refusal to provide medical treatment to a patient unable to wear a facemask (An Outpatientv A Clinic, ADJ-00032480), and
- an unsuccessful claim for payment of wages for an unpaid internship (Ollie Murray Greiner v IT Force Limited, ADJ-00035495).
