Cases covered include:

  • an award of €8,000 compensation for adverse treatment due to breaches of an employer's formal grievance procedure in a dispute over pay (A Worker v A Public Sector Organisation, ADJ-00046765),

  • a successful but substantially reduced claim for unfair dismissal where a security operative was dismissed after being found asleep while working (Ajibola Bamindele v Synergy Security Solutions Ltd Synergy Security Solutions ADJ-00038107), and

  • an unsuccessful claim under the Employment Equality Acts arising from an employer's mandatory retirement policy (James Matthews v Society Of Saint Vincent De Paul, ADJ-00036297).
