WRC decisions: 7 to 20 July
The Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) has published its decisions and recommendations from 7 to 20 July.
July employment and equality case law
Cases covered include:
- a successful claim of discrimination for refusal to accept a tenant in receipt of Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) (Ausra Ziurinskaite v Adrienne Keogh, ADJ-00031277),
- a detailed consideration of the law concerning frivolous, vexatious or misconceived complaints (A Complainant v A Newspaper, ADJ-00037566), and
- refusal of an employee to participate in regular testing for Covid-19 (Mindaugas Jakstonis v Birds Eye Ireland Limited, ADJ-00034952).
