RIP.ie offers a powerful platform for solicitors to showcase their expertise and strengthen public trust in the profession. The initial campaign delivered 10 solicitor‑authored articles on wills, probate and estate planning on RIP.ie, which receives 250,000 visitors per day.

This collaboration has generated significant readership and national visibility, with solicitors interviewed on Newstalk Breakfast, RTÉ Radio’s Oliver Callan show, LMFM, Clare FM, WLR FM, Newstalk Lunchtime Live, Shannonside and C103.

Social media activity during this first phase included LinkedIn collaborations, Q&A reels, polls and article highlights, which generated more than 40,000 engagements. Six Bar Associations actively participated and contributed to the campaign. A dedicated landing page on the Law Society website continues to host all RIP.ie content.

What’s next?

The next phase includes new articles, a broader media outreach and enhanced public engagement. A refreshed list of topics has been developed for 2026, with new authors sourced – and more to come on board.

Social media activity will increase, including new Q&A reels with contributors, Instagram polls, and potential client story video formats. Influencer partnerships are under consideration, and media engagement is also scaling up.

Ten Bar Associations have already signed up to support the initiative, with local press and regional radio coverage rolling out over the coming weeks.
