The Law Society AGM will take place on Thursday 4 November 2021.

This year the Law Society’s Annual General Meeting will take place as a hybrid event to accommodate in-person and online attendance. All Law Society members are invited to attend the AGM 2021.   

The AGM 2021 is taking place at:  

  • Time: 6:30pm on Thursday 4 November 2021
  • Venue: Lecture Hall, Education Centre, Law Society of Ireland, Blackhall Place, Dublin 7 and Zoom Webinar.

Agenda

The AGM will give consideration to the Annual Report for the year 2020/2021 and provide a report on the Audited Financial Statements for the year ending 31 December 2020.

The AGM will provide complimentary CPD training. Kieran Pender, lawyer and author of the International Bar Association ‘Us Too?’ report on bullying and sexual harassment in the legal profession, will present ‘Bullying, Harassment and Sexual Harassment Awareness Training’ at the AGM 2021. Members who attend can claim one hour CPD, Management and Professional Development Skills (by eLearning) for this presentation.

The AGM will also hear the report of the Scrutineers on the Annual Election and the Provincial Elections, and announce the final declaration of election results.

Covid-19 control measures

Members who would like to attend in person are advised of the following Covid-19 control measures in effect:

  1. Covid Certificate or Proof of Immunity (fully vaccinated or recovered from Covid-19 within previous 6 months) will be required.
  2. Photo ID must be presented when checking proof of immunity.
  3. Wearing of masks will be required except when speaking at a meeting, etc.
  4. Adherence to a minimum of 1 metre/1 seat distancing will be required.
