A series of webinars are being organised to help solicitors use the online Courts Portal.

The first is a Statement of Truth webinar which takes place on Friday 24 April at 9.15am. It introduces the Statement of Truth, the online affidavit, purpose, legal standing and how solicitors should use it. It lasts about 40 minutes with Q&As.

- Log on to Courts Portal at https://portal.courts.ie/ to register yourself and your firm on the system and get familiar with it.
Portal progress
In 2026, the Courts Service has progressed the development of the online Courts Portal as follows:
- Probate applications are being filed through the Portal by practitioners in the Dublin area.
- The documents for Circuit Court Family Law proceedings are being filed through the Courts Portal and presented before court.
- The Courts Service are upgrading the platform based on user feedback, as more solicitors interact.
- The Judiciary across various jurisdictions are being trained and engaging with their view of the Portal.
