Submit in time
To ensure your PC is dated 2026, the Law Society must receive your completed application and full payment of fees by Sunday, 1 February 2026. This is a statutory deadline and cannot be extended.
We’ve made it easier
To support you during the renewal process, the Law Society has published a new step-by-step guidance video to walk you through the form:
There’s guidance for each section of the application on our website, plus information on how to access your digital PC and on Section 61 applications for those returning to practice.
Please note, we do not acknowledge applications or payments received but you can view these details through your solicitor portal on the website.
