03/09/2024 10:58:42

The Diploma Centre and Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) join forces once again to offer the in-depth Diploma in Trust and Estate Planning.

This programme has been designed by practitioners with specialist exposure to give a practical insight into key estate planning, legal- and tax-based concerns for private clients in the area of trust and estates.

The focus of the diploma course is to enable successful candidates to advise clients on all aspects of the creation of wills, the operation of trusts, associated tax implications and overall estate planning. Practical in its approach, this course presents participants with real-life situations that practitioners face and provides real solutions to problems encountered.

What our past students say

"The diploma is well-rounded and really gave me confidence in my knowledge and skills. All of the lecturers involved are experts in their areas and I found the content really interesting and practical. The balance between the academic merit of the topics and the practical application was especially noticeable. As a solicitor, I specialise in the area of trust and estate planning, and I still have copies of my study and lecture notes by my desk.

On a personal, level I think the course is an excellent way of meeting colleagues and forming relationships. It is also great to have the opportunity to connect with the practitioners who lecture on the Diploma. The connections I made through the Diploma are invaluable."
