Each year, over 1,000 people from across the legal profession come together for the Calcutta Run to run, walk and crucially, fundraise – taking on the 6km and 10km routes that start at Blackhall Place in Dublin.

With a fundraising target of €300,000, firms of all sizes are encouraged to take part, alongside legal executives, support staff, solicitors, barristers, judges, and indeed everyone involved in the legal profession and the administration of justice.

Every single sign up and contribution helps us reach this important goal. Thank you!

On Saturday 23 May we’ll see you at the Law Society. Registration opens at 9.15am and the run starts at 11am sharp. There are similar Cork and Galway events on Sunday 24 May.

Finish-line fun

Don’t miss out on the vibrant Finish Line Festival at Blackhall Place – it’s a fantastic opportunity to connect with colleagues and friends, old and new.

Friends and family are welcome to join the celebrations on the day!

Raising funds for vital work

Calcutta Run is the legal sector’s flagship charity and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) event. Since its launch in 1999, the legal community has raised more than €5.9 million for homelessness services in Ireland and Kolkata, supporting vital work through collective participation.

In 2026, funds raised will once again support our charity partners, Dublin Simon Community and the Hope Foundation – two organisations working on the frontline of homelessness in Dublin and Kolkata, India.

Thanks to our Calcutta Run sponsors

Calcutta Run 2026 is proudly supported by Official Event Partner, Arachas. Thanks also to Calcutta Run sponsors, Behan and Associates, Independent College, Kefron, Antaris, NoFrixion, Stryve, The Panel and Marketing Clever.
