Ivor Fitzpatrick and Company are seeking a Litigation Solicitor with up to 1 year post qualification experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in Litigation. Experience in Insolvency matters would be an advantage but not a requirement.

This is an opportunity to join a seasoned team of legal professionals and would suit a candidate seeking experience in litigation in a busy work environment.

The role: 

• Working with an experienced litigation team on your own cohort of cases and progressing the same through the legal process.

• Drafting legal proceedings and Affidavits.

• Attending court.

• Enforcement of judgments.

• Drafting settlement agreements and concluding completion mechanisms.

• Advising clients on issues arising.

• Acting for lenders in the enforcement of security.

Requirements: 

• Qualified solicitor.

• Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.

• Excellent technical and drafting skills.

• Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative and also as part of a team.

• A professional approach to work.

• Excellent PC skills (use of Word, Excel, Outlook and case management systems).

• Dynamic person who can work with high-volume cases.
