Otter Products is currently recruiting for a Paralegal to join their EMEA & APAC legal team on a 12 month fixed-term contract. As the Paralegal, you will be responsible for the day-to-day tactical operations of Otter Products, EMEA and APAC corporate legal matters. This Otter must have excellent interpersonal, organisational, and follow-up skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining a great attention to detail.   • Provide legal administrative support to the General Counsel EMEA & APAC including production of documents, correspondence, briefing documents, reports and presentations, contracts, agreements as required;
  • Maintain document and contracts management system (Agiloft);
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Company Secretary/General Counsel EMEA & APAC in matters of corporate governance, subsidiary management and IP infringements;
  • Assist in drafting various commercial agreements including NDAs;
  • Manage various regulatory compliance documents and assume responsibility for maintaining up to date filings and liaising with various international regulatory bodies under the direction of the General Counsel EMEA & APAC;
  • Assume responsibility for enforcement administration of Otter products European Sales Partner Programme. o Assist with investigations to identify Suppliers/Partners creating infringements;
  • Draft Cease and Desist Letters;
  • Liaising with third parties and negotiating solutions with relevant parties in a respectful, professional and commercial manner within the boundaries allowed by the selective distribution policy;
  • Educating/training various groups including third parties and internal teams regarding their obligations under selective distribution;
  • Carry out legal research as assigned;
  • Participate in projects as assigned;
  • Collaborate with various internal business owners and legal colleagues to develop process improvements and operational policies;
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.


  • Qualification as Legal Executive/Paralegal or degree in law or equivalent relevant experience;
  • Minimum three years’ experience as a Paralegal/Legal Executive in-house or in a commercial legal firm is required;
  • Previous Industry experience is highly desirable;
  • Flexibility and willingness to work on a broad variety of legal matters;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office® particularly Excel, Word (Advanced) and Outlook;
  • Ability to handle information with integrity and in a confidential, sensitive, and critical nature;
  • Superior attention to detail and organisational skills with an ability to prioritise and shift duties to meet critical project deadlines;
  • Strong customer focus and ability to interact and communicate clearly;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude and an ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative;
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts;
  • Proven problem-solving skills;
  • Fluent written and oral English. Another European is advantageous.
