DAC Beachcroft are looking for a junior solicitor to join their expanding professional, regulatory and public law team and assist all team members on a wide variety of matters across all sectors – the work will be rewarding and varied.

This opportunity will suit a newly-qualified solicitor with some general litigation experience who is looking to gain experience in one of the fastest-developing areas of law.

Relevant experience in the areas of public, professional and regulatory law (both litigation and advisory) are desirable but, as this is a junior role, such experience is not mandatory.

The team:

They are leading legal advisors on the law relating to the public sector in Ireland and acts for a wide range of public sector bodies across the professional regulatory, financial, health and social care, sport, cyber / data-protection, health product regulation, health and safety, housing and property sectors. they also advise clients and stakeholders operating in regulated environments on public and regulatory law matters.

DAC Beachcroft Dublin specialises in insurance, professional indemnity, defendant personal injury, health, commercial litigation and employment work. They offer a local service to all clients, whether based in the UK, Ireland or internationally. The candidate should however have the following skills:

  • Good research and statutory interpretation skills;
  • Good inter-personal skills to interact with team members and develop relationships with clients;
  • Strong communication skills,
  • Excellent drafting skills with a particular focus on attention to detail;
  • Strong organisational and time management skills;
  • An interest in professional regulatory and public law and a willingness to learn.
