Event to brief solicitors on subsidy scheme
The Law Society is partnering with Revenue to offer solicitors a guide to the new Employment Wage Subsidy Scheme (EWSS) at an event next week.
The session takes place next Wednesday, 2 September, at 1pm. The EWSS will replace the Temporary Wage Subsidy Scheme (TWSS) from 1 September.
Update
Members of Revenue’s TWSS team will provide an update on recent revisions to the scheme and the reconciliation process, along with an update on frequent queries relevant to employers and their accountants.
The Society says the event, which includes a question and answer session, will be relevant to practices seeking to avail of the new EWSS.
Speakers and panelists include Siobhan Gilbourne, Anne Dullea, Gearóid Murphy and Laura Glancy.
