The Irish Centre for European Law (ICEL) is hosting a virtual conference on environmental law enforcement next Wednesday (11 November).
The conference – Environmental Law Enforcement: Emerging Challenges 2020 – is being held in association with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). It runs from 9am to 1.15pm and participation is free of charge.
The conference will discuss a number of issues including the role of law in climate action, environmental impact assessments, and the idea of a planning and environmental court.
Contributors include Chief Justice Frank Clarke (pictured) and the EPA’s director general Laura Burke.
The conference programme and online booking details are both available on the ICEL website.
