AI platform now tailored for general counsel

Swiss artificial intelligence (AI) pioneer Logol has launched ELLE Corporate, a cloud-based management platform for in-house legal departments.

The software has comprehensive contract lifecycle management capabilities, and integrates with Microsoft 365 tools, including Outlook, to automate legal departments’ daily tasks.

Other features include customer relationship management (CRM), invoicing, and accounting functionalities.

Cloud-based architecture

Its cloud-based architecture is powered by Microsoft Azure and enables remote access.

The system is GDPR and ISO 27001 compliant, and meets all data-protection regulatory requirements.

Logol developed the enterprise version of its flagship ELLE management solution for law firms and notary offices in response to requests from corporate clients.

“In today’s competitive global economy, corporate legal departments are increasingly being asked to reduce costs and operate more efficiently,” said Marco Farina, Logol founder and chief executive.

“Digital transformation and artificial intelligence will be key to freeing up internal lawyers to focus on more-strategic and higher-value tasks, increasing productivity and enabling legal departments to demonstrate true value.”

ELLE Corporate allows enterprise legal departments to manage different types of contracts such as supplier, sales and internal, as well as disputes, in an environment that spans internal departments and external partners.

Its functions include document creation and self-completion tools.

Contract management

Contract management features include approval workflows, dates management, automatic reminders of obligations and renewal deadlines, and a user permissions management system.

Founded in 2017, Logol is rapidly expanding, with 50 employees across offices in Zurich, Chiasso, Lausanne (Gland) and Milan.
