Web platform now offers searchable legal info

Legal information website Vizlegal has launched with tools to help lawyers track, search and save information.

The cite collates all new court judgments and  offers an email alert system as these arrive in.

Vizlegal also offers all practice directions and court rules, with notification of changes in either.

New judgments can be tracked for keywords or key phrases.  Any Irish High Court case can also be tracked for new filings, listings or orders.

Irish Circuit Court diaries are also available on the site as well as a facility to bookmark or tag any judgment or decision.

Searchable judgments

Vizlegal holds almost 500,000 searchable judgments or decisions from multiple jurisdictions along with another 511,000 records of the Irish High Court.

A total of 63,000 CJEU decisions are also searchable, along with 66,000 ECHR decisions.

And 149,000 Irish trademarks are also on the site as well as all British Supreme Court judgments, 16,000 England & Wales Court of Appeal judgments, and 24,000 England & Wales High Court judgments.

High court cases

Practitioners can also see the status of their High Court cases while on the move, through iPhone or Android operating systems.

The judgments of all Irish judges as well as Irish law firms High Court activity are also viewable, in beta form.

The platform is offering a free 10-day trial to users, says founder Gavin Sheridan (pictured).
