New York law firm Tully Rinckey has opened a Dublin office in Fitzwilliam Square with a branch network planned throughout Ireland. 

The company says that Tully Rinckey Ireland is the first step in a long-term investment in the international diversification of the firm’s markets and practice areas. 

The IDA-backed Dublin office will serve as the platform for the global expansion of the firm to the EU and beyond.

The firm plans eventually to open offices in Galway, Cork and Limerick, to service the legal needs of Ireland’s regional enterprises. The footprint will then expand throughout Europe, Asia and the Middle East. 

A spokesman for the company said that Dublin was the stepping stone to founding partner Mathew B Tully’s vision of becoming the go-to legal services firm for Irish and international businesses.

Dublin partner Barry Crushell said the office will hire ten staff by year-end and the three-year goal is to rise to a cohort of 35.

Integrated

The Dublin office will offer business clients on both sides of the Atlantic a gateway to establishing themselves in Europe and the United States. The Dublin office will be connected to Tully Rinckey’s international network. 

“The integrated nature of the practice means our Irish lawyers will work closely, and on a regular basis, with their counterparts across the globe, delivering an efficient and cost-effective legal service to our clients,” the spokesman said.
