RDJ's McCarthy is Dublin office partner-in-charge

Ronan Daly Jermyn has appointed Bryan McCarthy to lead the firm’s Dublin office as partner-in-charge.

A corporate and commercial partner, MCarthy has broad transactional experience of advising across a number of jurisdictions on mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, restructurings, financings, and data protection.

Strategic thinker

“Bryan’s reputation as an exceptional corporate lawyer, strategic thinker and thought leader marked him out as a great choice for this role”, said Richard Martin, RDJ managing partner.

He added “RDJ has experienced substantial growth in its Dublin office over the past five years while continuing to build on its traditionally strong Cork roots.”

Prior to joining RDJ’s Dublin office, Bryan was chief legal officer of IBRC. He also worked in London, Sydney and the Cayman Islands.

Bryan succeeds Jamie Olden who, after a five-year tenure, will now focus on his litigation practice, advising clients on a range of commercial disputes.
