Respected solicitor Sean Gallagher passes away

Solicitor Sean Gallagher has passed away as a result of COVID-19-related issues. 

He had been hospitalised in the ICU in Dublin’s Mater Hospital in recent weeks,

Sean qualified in 1975 and had only stepped back from active practice last year.

Highly respected

Sean established the firm Sean Gallagher & Company Solicitors, Merchant's Court, 24 Merchants Quay, Dublin 8, in 1994. 

He was a highly-respected member of the Panel to Assist Solicitors in Difficulty with the Law Society.

Described as a generous man with a big heart, Sean will be deeply mourned by his beloved wife Noelle, children Niamh, John, Hugh and Aifric, brother Colm, grandchildren Pearse and Nora, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, son-in-law Stephen, extended family, relatives and friends.

Funeral

A private family funeral will take place due to Government advice regarding public gatherings.

The funeral Mass will be streamed on the St Francis Xavier Church, Gardiner Street website on Friday morning (24 April) at 11 am.
