New York’s oldest firm Cadwalader opens in Dublin

Global financial services law firm Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft LLP has opened a Dublin 2 office in Fitzwilliam Place.

The firm’s Dublin lawyers will be advising clients on EU aspects of sophisticated corporate and financial transactions, and regulatory matters.

The firm has branches in London, and in New York, Washington and Charlotte in the United States.

London partners

Three of the firm’s London partners – David Quirolo, Robert Cannon and Suzanne Bell – are expected to move between the London headquarters and the new Irish office.

Cadwalader is New York City’s oldest law firm and recorded global revenue of €386 million in 2019.

The firm closed its Brussels office in 2018, and the move now re-establishes an EU base for its clients.
