MH&C renews backing for Ironman endurance event

Barrow Street, Dublin firm Mason Hayes & Curran (MH&C) is to repeat its sponsorship of this year’s Ironman.

The endurance marathon takes place this year on Sunday 23 June at Youghal in east Cork.

Former triathlete and competition and anti-trust partner in the firm Niall Collins said that what motivate Ironman athletes echoes the MH&C ethos of striving for excellence.

Irish triathlete Brian McCrystal, who was placed third in last year’s competition, is also sponsored by the firm.

Ironman MD Declan Byrne said “Ironman Cork is our first full race in Ireland and we are delighted to partner with award-winning Mason Hayes & Curran.

Values

“We have worked with the firm over the last two years and know that we share similar values and objectives.”

Over 2,650 athletes will take part in the race making it the largest ever field event for any triathlon in Ireland.

Over half the entrants are from Ireland with the balance coming from 62 different countries, particularly the USA.
