LASBA seminar addresses hot topics in Cork venue

The biannual Local Authorities Solicitors’ Bar Association (LASBA) seminar will take place in Cork next month, beginning with dinner at the Kingsley Hotel at 8pm on 16 May.

The seminar begins the following morning at 9.15am at the Old Council Chambers, Floor 16, Cork County Hall.

Itinerary

The confirmed itinerary and debate topics are:

Patricia Murphy – Multi-Unit Developments Act 2011,

Julia Dineen – financial contributions,

Julie O’ Leary BL – fire-safety legislation,

Peter McKenna BL – procurement, and

Conleth Bradley – second legal opinion (section 132, Local Government Act 2001).

A special accommodation rate is available at the Kingsley Hotel for LASBA attendees.
