New chief superintendents have been assigned to the following garda districts as a result of allocations following promotion.
Chief superintendent Sean Colleran is now responsible for Clare division.
Chief superintendent Michael Gubbins has been transferred to the office of assistant commissioner, special crime operations.
Superintendent Padraic Powell has been allocated to Bray District
Superintendent Shane Cummins has been assigned to western region headquarters with responsibility for the crime hub, Galway division (divisional policing model).
Superintendent Aidan Minnock has been assigned to Athlone district.
