Eversheds Sutherland advises Anam on sale

Law firm Eversheds Sutherland advised Dublin-based telecoms software company Anam Technologies on its acquisition this week by Croatian Infobip Group, a telecoms and communications group.

Anam Technologies filters billions of messages for more than 80 mobile-phone operators with more than 606 million customers across the world.

Cash and shares

The purchase price for the acquisition was not disclosed, but includes a combination of cash and Infobip shares.

The Eversheds Sutherland Ireland team in the Dublin office was led by partner Tony McGovern, senior associate Jonathan Ennis, and corporate solicitor Vanessa Lawlor.

Managing partner Alan Connell (pictured) and Robert Dever, senior associate (tax) advised on the financing. Robert Potter Coogan, senior associate (banking and finance), and Maria Gallagher, senior associate (employment), advised on the banking and employment-law elements respectively.
