Legaltech start-up raises pre-seed funding

Legaltech start-up EstateMin, founded in Dublin in 2024 and now based in New York, has raised €1 million in pre-seed funding to scale its AI platform for US trust and estate law firms.

Co-founder and chief executive Isabella Hughes is a Maynooth law graduate and former legal executive.

Hughes experienced first-hand the administrative challenges of estate work and met co-founder Oisín Dolphin at a founder weekend at Dogpatch Labs.

The team initially focused on Ireland before pivoting to the US following a Fierce Tech Founders trip to New York.

Isabella subsequently relocated, and EstateMin is now headquartered in Brooklyn.

The platform helps lawyers manage client intake, document extraction and form preparation.

Firms using EstateMin have managed 777+ matters representing over $770 million in estate value, reporting savings of up to 10 hours per estate administration matter, its founders state.

EstateMin supports law firms across all 50 US states and reports 20% month-on-month revenue growth.
