DSBA event to discuss medical negligence

The Dublin Solicitors Bar Association (DSBA) is organising an online update on medical-negligence claims later this month. 

The webinar will take place on Tuesday 17 November (2-4pm). 

Among the speakers is Dr Niall Jones (consultant neonatal and paediatric surgeon), who will look at AI, surgery, and the law. 

Consent 

Alastair Graham (consultant cardiothoracic surgeon) will also deliver a presentation entitled: 'The heart team has decided – but has the patient? Consent and multi-disciplinary decision-making in cardiothoracic surgery'. 

Fiachra Breathnach BL will discuss recent practice directions and judgments.
