Employment-law update to look at latest trends

The Law Society will hold its annual update on developments in employment law next month.

The online Zoom webinar will take place on Wednesday 24 June (2pm to 5.30pm) and attendance will yield 3.5 general CPD hours by e-learning.

The event is organised by Law Society Professional Training in collaboration with the Law Society’s Employment and Equality Law Committee.

It aims to provide a practical overview of recent legislative, case law, and practice developments in employment law.

Use of AI

Topics and Issues to be covered:

  • Latest trends in employment claims, navigating the WRC complaint form, and the use of AI,
  • Upskilling on pay transparency, worker status, and protected disclosures,
  • Summary of employment case law with practical implications.

Mason Hayes & Curran partner Ronnie Neville, who also chairs the Employment and Equality Law Committee, will chair the conference.
