Lawyers Against Homelessness Easter event

Lawyers Against Homelessness has announced details of its Easter CPD conference, all proceeds of which will go to the Capuchin Day Centre in Bow Street, Dublin 7. 

The event takes place on Thursday 19 March (3.30pm to 7.30pm) at the Capuchin Day Centre, 29 Bow Street, Dublin 7. 

The conference, which yields four CPD points, will concentrate on ethics, personal injury, and property/planning.

It is open to all members of the legal profession. 

€585,00 raised so far 

This is the 18th event that the group has organised, raising more than €585,000 for the Capuchin Day Centre. 

The speakers (among others to be confirmed) include: 

  • Mr Justice Kevin Cross,
  • Mr Justice Conleth Bradley,
  • Niall Connors (Law Society Director of Regulation),
  • Tomás Keys BL,
  • Niamh Collins (associate, A&L Goodbody),
  • Estelle Casadesus BL, and
  • Genevieve Brindley (solicitor, Carson McDowell). 

The CPD conference fee is €150 (or €75 for practitioners in years one to five).
