Funeral of Limerick solicitor Ruth Staunton
Former Ireland and Munster star Jeremy Staunton has paid emotional tribute to his late wife, Limerick solicitor Ruth Staunton.
Ruth, (née Tiernan), a mother of four, was well known in Limerick as a respected solicitor.
Her funeral took place at St Nessan's Church, Raheen, today (19 March).
Her death notice said that she passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at University Hospital Limerick.
The solicitor, of Ballycummin Road, Raheen and late of Ballyclough, County Limerick, was in her mid-40s, and trained at Dillon Eustace in Dublin.
Beautiful
She was described as a beautiful and life-loving woman who was smiling in every single picture her husband has.
He urged the congregation to celebrate the joy Ruth brought to others.
