ALG city centre five km run returns in September

A&L Goodbody has confirmed its return as title sponsor of the 2026 ALG5K Corporate Team Challenge, taking place in Dublin city on Tuesday, 8 September.

Delivered in partnership with Athletics Ireland, the ALG5K backs the power of an active workforce while bringing thousands of professionals together for an evening of energy, connection and healthy competition.

Teams of four compete across male, female and mixed categories, with accurate chip timing.

Individual runners

Individual runners are also welcome, with results contributing to the overall competition.

The 2026 event will be led by returning ambassador David Gillick, two-time European indoor champion and Olympian.

Early bird team entry costs €110 + booking fee for a team of four (including t-shirts), available until 17 May.

ALG5K tech t-shirts combine high-performance with style and sustainability.

As well as this year’s leading team trophies, there will also be individual prizes for winning team members as well as spot prizes.

The event will once again support the work of DePaul Ireland and Athletics Ireland’s youth development programmes.

Over €11,000 was raised in 2025 for each of these partners.
